Dr. Seuss Was On The Loose

For Dr. Seuss Birthday we had two parties, one for persons who are tall

and one for persons who are small.

We consumed Ooblec, Moose Juice and a Horton's Puff

We had green eggs and ham and other strange stuff.

Most the books we read were full of silly rhyme

With our tongues made of rubber we had a great time.

We dressed as Things 1 and 2

and star-bellied sneetches were in attendance too.

The kids played a clean-up game like in "Cat in the Hat",

The really can clean up fast, imagine that.

We played a some games that involved our feet,

The kids all thought that was really neat.

Then we went fishing for One fish or two,

And we caught a few fish that were red or blue.

We made many hats like our freind Bartholomew,

Who had so many hats he didn't know what to do.

The kids were filled with elation,

we are sure this won't be our last Seuss Celebration.
